The House DC is celebrating 20 years of making an impact in the lives of inner city youth and families in southeast DC. We could not be more thankful for everyone who has been a part of our journey so far, and we would love to celebrate with you at our 20th Anniversary Benefit Dinner on Friday, May 31, 2019.

For 20 years, The House DC has been a safe haven for youth who have never experienced stability, safety, and a sense of home. The House DC has been a place where youth can be loved and cared for, and given the tools and resources they need to thrive as individuals. Many of the youth who come to The House DC have never experienced what it means to be taken care of, because they feel responsible for making it on their own in this world.

The youth who come to The House DC don’t leave the same again. For many, The House DC is a place where they can let go and be cared for; where they can be given a meal, where they can be heard, where they can be seen, where they can be known and loved for who they are.

Many of our youth come to The House DC not believing in God, but through the love and care they encounter at The House DC, our youth begin to open up to the possibility that perhaps there is a God out there, and that He cares for them, He loves them and He has not forgotten them.

Our hope is to continue to grow in ministry, as we seek to share the Gospel and transform hearts. We cannot do this without you. Will you prayerfully consider sponsoring our benefit dinner on May 31?
