For many inner-city youth at The House DC, the gifts they receive here may be the only
ones they’ll open all year. This Christmas, you can make sure all of our youth
experience the joy and warmth of the season by sponsoring our Christmas party!

Every December, The House DC hosts a Christmas celebration that our youth and
impoverished community look forward to all year long. It’s more than a party, it’s a

reminder that they matter and are loved. What they experience goes far beyond
presents, it’s about hope, belonging, and the love of Jesus.

What Your Gift Provides

Your generosity does more than fund a celebration. It creates lasting impact.

• • Christmas Gifts: Each of our youth receives gifts that they are able to choose.
    Many of them will choose coats and hats to keep warm for the winter, other
    clothing items, or something uniquely designed for teens.
    

• • A chance to give as well as receive: Not only do we provide gifts for our youth,
    but we also allow them the opportunity to choose a gift for their siblings as well.
    

• • A Joy-Filled Celebration: Inner-city youth enjoy a festive Christmas dinner,
    laughter, music, and messages of hope that point them to Jesus—the true
    reason for the season.
    

Moments like these remind us why this celebration matters. Every gift represents more
than generosity—it’s a message that hope still lives here in the inner-city community of
Anacostia in southeast Washington, D.C.

Every dollar helps us create a celebration where love is shared, faith is strengthened,
and hearts are lifted. But most of all, we celebrate the birth of Jesus and share His love
with our neighbors.
