The Need

For many of the young people who walk through the doors of The House DC, life isn’t
easy. They’re navigating challenges most adults couldn’t imagine – from community
violence to family struggles to questions of identity and purpose.

In the middle of it all, many are searching for truth, for hope, and for something real.
That’s why having their own Bible, one written especially for them, can be life-changing.

Some of our teens have never owned a Bible before.
Others have tried to read one but couldn’t understand the language or relate to its
context.

With your help, every student who wants a Bible can have one; a Bible that speaks to
them, guides them, and reminds them they are deeply loved by God.

The Bible You’ll Provide

Your $30 gift provides a Teen Life Application Bible, written in the New Living
Translation (NLT) or English Standard Version (ESV), versions that make Scripture
clear, relevant, and personal.

These Bibles are not just books, they are companions our youth will use for their
personal study as well as at The House during:

• Life Sessions weekly group sessions where they are taught biblical truths for
  real-world challenges,

• D.O.P.E. (Discipling Our young People Effectively), our discipleship group for
  spiritual growth,

Each Bible includes devotionals and study topics on friendship, stress, relationships,
identity, and faith — helping teens connect God’s Word to their everyday life.
